Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT)

The City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) currently operates the second largest fleet in Los Angeles County next to LACMTA. LADOT's transit fleet consists of nearly 400 vehicles which operate over 800,000 revenue hours and serve approximately 30 million passenger boardings per year.

When you need to get around your community, DASH is the way to go. DASH can help you make quick trips to the bank, market, health services and local shops, as well as service to many area schools and colleges.

Weekday DASH Downtown Los AngelesDASH Downtown Los Angeles operates Monday through Friday every 5-12 minutes. Six routes serve the Downtown area with stops at major tourist and business locations.

Weekday DASH Downtown Los AngelesDASH Downtown Weekend operates Saturday and Sunday every 10-20 minutes. Three shuttles serve major shopping and tourist locations.

Commuter Express

Commuter Express will get you to work and home again without the stress of traffic and parking. Commuter Express generally operates Monday-Friday during peak commute hours.


Cityride is a program for individuals in the City aged 65 or older and persons with mobility impairments. As a Cityride registrant, you may purchase a book of 78 transit scrip once quarterly and use them to obtain discounts on taxi, and/or Cityride lift-van Dial-A-Ride services.

Bunker Hill

Direct service for Metrolink passengers is available to Bunker Hill in the morning and back to Union Station in the afternoon via this special Metrolink shuttle route.
